Simon Morgan from CGL (Change ,Grow, Live) joined us at coffee morning to talk to us about the Drugs and Alcohol service they provide.
Simon was very informative and parents were surprised how high the figures in Coventry were for people that have CGL support.
Parents spoke about personal issues and Simon spoke about his own previous issues too.
Verbal feedback from parents was very positive and all enjoyed the session and have taken leaflets.
Please see the leaflet if you have any concerns about relatives, friends or neighbours that may have any alcohol or drug related issues .
As there has been an increase in Dirty needles being left on pavements near the school , Simon advised parents that if they see Dirty needles in the street, not to pick them up but to notify Coventry City council , health and environment department and they will be hopefully be removed .
Lovely to see all my parents and Thankyou again for your support – Next coffee Morning is on February 19th for Men Only! Coventry Men’s shed. Come along and learn new skills, have fun and refreshments will be provided .
I look forward to seeing you then
