It’s been a brilliant day at Southfields Primary. The children had a great opportunity to share their own languages and culture to other children at the school. They presented lots of fun activities and games. In the afternoon, we had a whole school picnic with lots of different ethnic foods and chance to celebrate and socialise with our multi-cultural community, with all our children, parents and families able to attend. Thank you so much to everyone involved in organising today’s events and for all the amazing food brought in to share. Check out the amazing day below!
Eco-committee comments on Community Languages Day: Eco-committee where really pleased to see a conscious effort made to be more plastic free on Community Languages Day. After using up previous supplies of plastic cutlery and plates, this has now been replaced with bamboo cutlery and paper plates and the food was displayed on crockery. We hope this will continue for our brilliant Southfields events to come!
