🤩So here we are Year 6 – your last official day of primary school! Congratulations to you all!🤩
Do you remember when you first started school? Nervous tummies and feelings of excitement, of what was to come. Even though you were little then – you will feel those same feelings every time you try something big and new. It doesn’t matter if you are young or grown up, we all get the same feelings as we experience changes in our lives. You are all about to experience these same feelings once again, as you move on to a new chapter at secondary school.
We hope that when you look back on your time at Southfields, you do so with happy memories of the experiences you have encountered and the people you have met. When you become adults we hope you share these with feelings of happiness and giggles too!
We are in pure admiration of you Year 6, as despite everything that has been put in your way this year, you’ve have tackled it with resilience and always with a smile and being happy through all of this is pure success!
Thanks to everyone who wrote an ‘In my Southfields Memory Box’ poem. I have attached the winning entries. I had great fun making your video for you, to capture the year you have had, the history you have been part of and the fun memories that were made. The music is from our end of year production that should have been…we know you would have been awesome! You can watch it on Class Dojo as it is too big a file to upload to the blog!
We wish you all the best for Year 7 and beyond and look forward to hearing how you all get on and we hope to see some of you next Monday 26th July 1-2pm at the front office to pick up your things and say bye face to face.
Take care and stay safe
