Leonard The Library Lizard – Insects!

Hi folks, Leonard here. It’s been a really busy time in the library. People came and took all the books off the shelves – it was a right mess! Thankfully they have now all been sorted and have got some lovely new stickers on. I love it as it is so easy to find books about things now. I have been reading all about insects this week – For me, this is like reading a cookery book! I would love to eat some of them! Think I’ll stick to the school dinner though which is kindly left out for me each evening. Really yummy for me, this is like reading a cookery book! I would love to eat some of them! Think I’ll stick to the school dinner though which is kindly left out for me each evening. Really yummy, especially the roast beef and roast potatoes. Making my mouth water just thinking about it! Anyway, did you know that there are between six and ten million species of insects in the world? WOW! New types are still being found. Maybe we could find one here at Southfields! There are also some insects who can walk on water. I tried that one but ended up getting very wet! I discovered these facts while reading last night – I can’t wait for tonight to find out more! I also read a joke book and this is my favourite joke at the moment:

What goes zzub zzub?

A bee flying backwards!!

Have a good one!

Leonard
