The Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize aims to inspire young people to read about science and promotes the writing of excellent, accessible STEM books for under-14s. The prize is unique in that the winner is selected by judging panels made up of young people across the country.
All the judges are children from primary schools, so we chose 6 fantastic children from Year 6 to read, review and openly discuss and debate their favorite book from the selection. They did an amazing job judging the books and selected a favourite. The winning book will be announced in November.
