Year 6 have returned this term buzzing about the books they received at Christmas thanks to the generosity of Caroline Freeman-Cuerden who raised an amazing £750.

Caroline and her daughter Poppy visited the school and gave every child the opportunity to choose a book they would love to own. She ordered them, but also bought each child an extra book by our class author, Michael Morpurgo, as well as some felt tips.

She returned with Poppy at Christmas and delivered the generous gifts all wrapped up. The children in Year 6 were so excited and thoroughly enjoyed opening their presents and very quickly lost themselves in their books.

A HUGE thank you to Caroline and Poppy for their time and their most wonderful generous gesture!
