Year 6S were lucky to spend a week with the IntoUniversity team focusing on World War 2 and then looking at future career choices. The children had a great week working in teams and being really creative creating amazing large posters and even building air raid shelters out of cardboard. They also spent a day at the Coventry Transport Museum to help them learn more about the War and it’s effect on Coventry.
This highlight of the week was a visit to Warwick University, seeing first hand what it would be like to study at a real University and finally graduating with cap and gowns at the end of the day. It was an amazing experience, that definitely made the children think about their future aspirations.
Thank you to all at IntoUniversity for letting us join you.
